Gregory Iron sits down with the very nice and very evil --Danhausen!
In this rare interview, we get to know the manhausen behind Danhausen. Danhausen chats with Greg about growing up in Detroit and discovering pro wrestling through WWF action figures and watching Badd Blood 1997. Hear how Danhausen's friend that kinda looked like Cody Rhodes helped him discover Truth Martini’s “House of Truth” wrestling school, what it was like going through phases under different personas while trying to find himself as a performer, the inspiration behind the Danhausen character, the origin of his jar of teeth, his views on wrestling psychology, the evolution of “The Production” stable, the importance of social media and producing content, and being followed on Twitter by Slipknot’s Corey Taylor. What is Danhausen's favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle? What are his favorite horror films and episodes of The Simpsons? Why did Danhausen almost quit pro wrestling entirely and what made him stay? Find out all of this and more on this episode!
You’ll LOVE THAT DANHAUSEN!
Before the podcast, Greg and Aaron discuss the importance of character development: being versatile when it comes to being a wrestling character, evolving a character, and how at times it’s equally as important to stick to your guns and stay true to yourself. Greg and Aaron chat about how guys like Matthew Justice and Rickey Shane Page evolved, Greg talks about a run-in with Al Snow at OVW that changed the way Greg does interviews, and Aaron rants about how he hates Disney+.
